Tessera (“the app”) is developed by TapForge Studios (99 Cent Apps LLC). This policy explains what information is handled when you play Tessera. In short: we do not collect personal information ourselves, and the app has no account you create with us.
TapForge Studios does not collect, store, or sell your name, email address, contacts, photos, location, or any other personally identifying information. Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device.
Tessera displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain data, including your device’s advertising identifier, general device information, and app-usage signals, to show and measure ads. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Tessera shows a consent prompt (via Google’s User Messaging Platform) that lets you choose how your data is used for ads. You can update your ad settings anytime in your device’s Google settings.
Tessera uses Google Play Games Services to offer optional high-score leaderboards. If you sign in to Play Games, Google associates your Play Games profile (such as your gamer ID and, if you choose, your gamer alias) with your score so it can be ranked. TapForge Studios receives only the score you submit and aggregate ranking information — we do not receive your Google account details. Your use of Play Games is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy, and you can manage or delete Play Games data in your Google account settings. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.
Tessera offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. Purchases are processed by Google Play; TapForge Studios never sees or stores your payment card details. Google provides us only the confirmation needed to unlock the purchase on your device.
Tessera is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
Gameplay data lives on your device, so uninstalling the app removes it. Data handled by Google (ads, leaderboards, and purchases) is governed by Google’s own retention and security practices.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
