Mathlings: Clock & Coin Shop (Android) · Effective October 13, 2026
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics.
- No accounts and no sign-up.
- We do not collect any personal information. The app has no internet permission.
- Children's progress stays on the device.
- Purchases, links and settings are behind a grown-up gate.
Who we are
Mathlings: Clock & Coin Shop ("the app") is made by TapForge Studios (99 Cent Apps LLC), Crown Point, Indiana, USA. Contact: contact@tapforgeapps.com.
Information we collect
None. The app is designed for children and works completely offline. It does not request the internet permission, does not contain advertising or analytics software, does not use the advertising ID, and does not send any information to us or to anyone else.
Information kept on the device
To remember each child's progress, the app stores on the device: the first name or nickname typed for a player profile, the chosen animal buddy and school grade, game progress (stars, coins, stickers, trophies, streaks, practice minutes and skill accuracy) and app settings. This information never leaves the device through the app.
If the family has Android backup turned on, Android may include this progress in the device backup stored in the family's own Google account, so it can be restored on a new phone. We cannot access those backups.
To delete it: delete a player in the Grown-ups area, clear the app's storage in the phone's settings, or uninstall the app.
Purchases and school codes
The app is free to try. A grown-up can buy a one-time unlock. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play; we never receive payment card details or other payment information. Google's privacy policy applies to purchases.
If a grown-up enters a school discount code, it is checked on the device. The code is not sent to us.
Permissions
- Notifications (optional): only used if a grown-up turns on the daily practice reminder.
- Run at startup: only used to put the optional daily reminder back after the phone restarts.
The optional "read questions aloud" feature uses the phone's own text-to-speech engine. Printable worksheets are created on the device and are only shared or printed when a grown-up chooses to.
Problem reports
If the app ever closes unexpectedly, a grown-up can choose to send us a short technical report (app version, device model, Android version and error details — no personal information). It is sent from the grown-up's own email app, so we receive their email address and use it only to reply and fix the problem. Sending a report is always optional.
Links and other apps
The Grown-ups area, which children can only open by solving a grown-up math question, contains links to Google Play (our other Mathlings apps and rating this app), our website and email. Those services have their own privacy policies.
Children's privacy
The app is made for children and follows the Google Play Families policy. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, including children, there is no personal information for us to review, share or delete. Parents with questions can contact us at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
