Lunara Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Lunara (“the app”) is a period and cycle tracker developed by TapForge Studios (“we”, “us”). We built Lunara to be private by design. This policy explains, in plain language, how the app handles your information.

The short version

What data Lunara stores

Everything you enter is stored locally in the app’s private storage on your device, including: periods and flow, symptoms, moods, custom tags, fertility-awareness signs (basal body temperature, cervical mucus, ovulation-test results), intimacy entries, notes, medications and reminder times, your optional profile (such as name and birth year), and pregnancy or perimenopause details.

We, the developer, never receive this information. There is no Lunara server and no Lunara account.

Network access

Lunara does not request internet access for its core features and therefore cannot send your tracking data off your device. Reminders, the home-screen widget, predictions, and insights all run entirely on your device.

If a future version adds an optional cloud backup, it will be strictly opt-in, clearly described, and this policy will be updated before it is offered.

Permissions Lunara may request

The home-screen widget

The optional widget reads your cycle data on your device to display the number of days until your next period. It does not use the network and does not share data.

Purchases

Lunara Pro (monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase) is processed by Google Play Billing. Lunara receives only your entitlement status (whether you have an active purchase) so it can unlock features. We do not receive your name, card, or payment details. Purchases are handled under Google’s Privacy Policy.

Backups you create

You can export your data to a backup file that you save to a location you choose. Those files are under your control. If you share or store a backup somewhere, its privacy depends on where you put it.

Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall Lunara. Uninstalling the app removes its locally stored data from your device.

Security

Your data is kept in the app’s private storage. You can enable an optional app lock that uses your device’s biometrics or PIN to open Lunara.

Children

Lunara is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country) and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.

Not medical advice

Lunara’s predictions and insights are estimates based on the data you log. They are not medical advice and are not a form of contraception. For medical concerns, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
