This Privacy Policy explains how the KeyZap mobile application (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information. We built KeyZap to be safe for children and families. The short version: we do not collect, store, or share any personal information.
None. KeyZap does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide a name, email address, phone number, photo, or location. We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or files.
KeyZap saves your game data — such as level progress, high scores, stars, achievements, streaks, per-key statistics, player profile names you choose, and settings — only on your device, using local storage. This information never leaves the device, is not transmitted to us or anyone else, and is not accessible to us. Player profile names are optional labels you enter (for example, “Player 1”) and are stored locally only. Uninstalling the App removes this data.
KeyZap contains no advertising, no third-party advertising SDKs, no analytics, and no trackers. We do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not build profiles of users or track behavior across apps or websites.
KeyZap offers a single optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full game (“KeyZap Pro”). Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. Google’s handling of a purchase is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. The App only stores, locally, whether the unlock has been purchased so it can enable the corresponding features.
KeyZap is designed to work fully offline. The only network communication is with Google Play services to process the optional purchase described above and to verify entitlement. No gameplay data or personal information is sent over the network.
KeyZap is intended for a general audience that includes children. Because the App collects no personal information from any user, it is designed to comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Google Play’s Families policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children (or anyone). If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, please contact us and we will address it — though, by design, the App has no mechanism to collect or transmit such information.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any personal information, because we do not collect any.
Because your data stays on your own device and is never transmitted to us, it remains under your control. We recommend keeping your device secured with a passcode.
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the updated version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected in the App’s store listing.
