Effective July 11, 2026
This policy explains how the InspectForge mobile app ("InspectForge," "the app," "we," "us") handles information. InspectForge is published by 99 Cent Apps LLC, doing business as TapForge Studios, based in Crown Point, Indiana, USA. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Everything you create in InspectForge is saved locally, in the app's private storage on your device. This includes:
We do not transmit this information to us or to any third party. It stays on your device unless you export or back it up yourself (see below).
If you add a photo to a finding, the app opens your device's camera or photo picker so you can capture or choose an image. Selected photos are stored with the inspection on your device. The app does not upload your photos anywhere.
InspectForge offers optional backup and restore. When you create a backup, you choose the destination folder through Android's system file picker — for example a folder on your device or in your own cloud storage such as Google Drive. The app writes backup files only to the location you select. We have no access to those files. If you use a cloud folder, that cloud provider's own privacy policy applies to the copy stored there.
The free version of InspectForge displays ads using Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process device information and identifiers, including your advertising ID, and usage data, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), the app shows a Google-certified consent message (Google User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are used, and you can change your choice later. Upgrading to InspectForge Pro removes ads. Learn more about how Google uses data from apps at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
InspectForge Pro (monthly, annual, or one-time lifetime) is sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes your payment; InspectForge never sees or stores your payment card details. Google shares only a confirmation of your purchase/subscription status so the app can unlock Pro features.
InspectForge does not include a separate analytics or tracking SDK. Aside from the advertising and billing services above (both operated by Google), the app does not send your activity to us.
Because your data lives on your device, you control it. You can delete individual inspections, photos, customers, or templates in the app, and uninstalling InspectForge removes the app's local data from your device. Any backups you exported remain wherever you saved them until you delete them there.
InspectForge is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on your region (for example under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Since InspectForge keeps your inspection data on your own device and does not hold it on our servers, you can exercise these rights directly in the app. For ad-related data, use the in-app consent controls and your device's advertising-ID settings, or contact Google. For any questions about this policy, email us using the address below.
Your data is stored in the app's private storage area on your device and is protected by your device's own security (screen lock, encryption). No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but keeping your data on-device — rather than on a shared server — limits its exposure.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, within the app.
