Inspector Prep is published by TapForge Studios (99 Cent Apps LLC). This policy explains what the app collects and what it does not.
Your study progress - which questions you have answered, which you missed and when they are next due for review, your best score per exam, your study streak and daily question count, any paper you left unfinished, your settings (daily goal, reminder time, exam date and the exam you are sitting) and your purchase status - is stored only on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that receives it. If you uninstall the app, that data is deleted with it. The question bank and all study content ship inside the app and work with no network connection.
Reminders are off until you turn them on in Settings. When you do, Android asks whether Inspector Prep may send notifications. The reminder is scheduled on your phone with the Android alarm service and its text is written on your phone from your own progress. No reminder data leaves your device and no push service is used. Turning reminders off, or denying the permission, stops them completely.
After you pass a practice exam, the app may ask Google Play to show its standard rating window. That window is provided and controlled by Google Play; the app is never told whether you rated it or what you wrote.
The app shows a few other TapForge Studios apps. To show "Open" instead of "Get" for ones you already have, it checks on your device whether those specific apps are installed. That check happens only on your phone and the result is not stored or sent anywhere. Tapping one opens its Google Play page with a tag that tells us the visit came from this app; it identifies the app, not you.
The free version of Inspector Prep shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process data as described in Google's own policy, including a device advertising identifier. Where required by law, the app presents a consent form on first launch through Google's User Messaging Platform, and your choice is respected on every later launch. You can change that choice at any time from Settings > Privacy choices inside the app (shown where the law requires it).

Buying Inspector Prep Pro removes all advertising, and with it the ad-related data collection described above.
The optional one-time purchase is handled entirely by Google Play billing. TapForge Studios never receives or stores your payment details. The app asks Google Play whether the purchase exists and stores only that yes-or-no answer on your device.
If the app closes unexpectedly, it writes the technical details to a file on your device and offers to show them to you on the next launch, with a button to copy them. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. If you choose to email that text to support, you are sending it deliberately, and it contains no personal information beyond what the error itself describes.
Inspector Prep is a professional certification study aid intended for adults preparing for building inspector examinations. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
You can reset all stored progress from Settings or the Progress screen. You can turn reminders off, or clear your exam date, in Settings. You can change or withdraw advertising consent from Settings > Privacy choices where it applies. You can remove everything by uninstalling the app.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
