1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

We do not collect any information. The app does not ask for, gather, store on our servers, or transmit any personal or non‑personal information about you or your child. Specifically, the app does not collect:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any contact information;
• Precise or approximate location;
• Photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or files;
• Advertising identifiers (the Android Advertising ID permission is explicitly removed);
• Usage analytics, crash analytics, device identifiers, or behavioral data.

The app requests no Android runtime permissions and includes no INTERNET permission. Because there is no network access, no data can leave the device — by design.

3. Where your child's progress is stored

Learning progress (lessons learned, practice results, mastery and "strength" scores, coins, stickers, avatar choices, and app settings) is saved only in local storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere and is not accessible to us or to any third party. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this local data.

4. No advertising and no tracking

The app contains no advertisements and integrates no advertising, marketing, or analytics SDKs of any kind (no AdMob, no Firebase, no third‑party trackers). Your child will never see ads, and nothing about your child is profiled or tracked.

5. Purchases

The app offers optional one‑time in‑app purchases (for example, "Academy Plus," per‑grade bonus content, and cosmetic packs). All purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details, card numbers, or billing address. Every purchase is protected behind a parental gate (an adult verification step) inside the app. Google's handling of your purchase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Other on‑device features

• Read‑aloud (text‑to‑speech): uses the text‑to‑speech engine built into your Android device. Text is spoken locally; nothing is sent by our app.
• In‑app review: if you choose to rate the app, this uses Google Play's In‑App Review feature, handled by the Google Play Store app and governed by Google's policies.

7. Children's privacy (COPPA & Google Play Families)

Mathlings: Math Academy is designed for children and families and is built to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families policies. Because we collect no personal information, display no ads, and transmit no data, the app does not knowingly or unknowingly gather information from children. There are no social features, no chat, no user‑generated content sharing, and no external links presented to children.

8. Data sharing and sale

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data, because we do not collect any data.

9. Your rights

Since no personal data is collected or stored by us, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of the local data on your device and can remove it at any time by uninstalling the app.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Effective date" above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
