HYPERGLOW

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TapForge Studios ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game Hyperglow (the "App"). We built Hyperglow to respect your privacy: the App has no accounts, no sign-up, and does not ask you for any personal information.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The short version

  • We don't collect personal information ourselves. There is no login, and your game progress is stored only on your device.
  • We use Google services (AdMob for ads and Google Play Billing for optional purchases). These services may collect limited data such as your device's advertising identifier to function.
  • You're in control. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings, and players in the EEA/UK are asked for ad consent on first launch.

2. Information we collect

Information the App collects directly

None. Hyperglow does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. Your high score, coins, and unlocked cosmetics are saved locally on your device only and are never transmitted to us. Uninstalling the App deletes this local data.

Information collected by third-party services

To keep the App free and to process optional purchases, we use the following third-party services, which may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

ServicePurposeData it may process
Google AdMob
(Google Mobile Ads SDK)
Show ads (including optional rewarded ads) that fund the App Advertising ID, IP address, approximate (coarse) location, device information, and ad-interaction data, used to serve and measure ads
Google Play Billing Process optional in-app purchases Purchase transaction details. Payment is handled entirely by Google — we never see or store your card or payment details
Google Play Services Core app delivery, security, and SDK functionality Device and diagnostic information as required by Google

We do not control how Google collects or uses this data. Please review: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

3. Advertising & your choices

The App displays ads through Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising identifier to deliver and measure ads. You can:

Consent for users in the EEA, UK & Switzerland

Where required by the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive, the App presents a consent message on first launch using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are served. Your choice determines whether you see personalized or non-personalized ads.

4. In-app purchases

The App offers optional purchases (coin packs, a one-time "No Ads" upgrade, and a "VIP Pass"). These are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation that a purchase occurred so we can unlock the corresponding content, but we do not receive or store your payment information. Purchases are governed by Google Play's Terms of Service.

5. Children's privacy

Hyperglow is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is not enrolled in the Designed for Families program. If you believe a child has provided personal information to a third-party service through the App, please contact us and we will work with the relevant provider to address it.

6. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Data processed through the App is shared only with the service providers listed in Section 2, for the purposes described, or where required by law. We may share information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.

7. Data retention

We do not maintain servers that store your personal data. Game data lives on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App. Data processed by Google's services is retained according to Google's own policies.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal data, and the right not to have your personal information sold (we do not sell it). Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, many requests are best directed to Google for data its services collect. You may also contact us at the address below and we will assist where we are able.

9. Security

Data transmitted by the third-party SDKs is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we select reputable providers (Google) that maintain industry-standard safeguards.

10. International users

The App is available worldwide. By using it, you understand that data processed by our service providers may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, under the safeguards those providers maintain.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
